Job tasks
  • Manages the global GM (General Motors) business development, extending sales on a profitable base and improving customer relationships by establishing and maintaining close contact with key executives in purchasing and engineering
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by the company management
  • Develops and implements sales strategies in accordance with the company’s and the product line’s goals and strategies
  • Formulates and presents company's products and services brilliantly at all customer and internal levels
  • Achieves valued business opportunities for continued revenue & profit growth
  • Manages all aspects of sales reporting of the sales account, including regular reporting of the activities and customer meetings, actual sales, forecasts and long-range planning
  • Assesses proactively customer needs, trends and risks which could affect the business development strategy
  • Achieves profitability, technically flawless and on-time implementation of the new projects until start of production by supervision and support to the Program Management
  • Investigates and manages customer perception, applying value-chain assessment methodologies, improving strategic positioning with our customers, diagnosing competitive business environment, creating value to win, keep and expand customer bases and finally influencing business choices to drive profitability. Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
  • Leads the quotation (CQA) processes and applies transversal management of all involved departments in order to secure competitive and on-time outputs
  • Secures contract checking and contract management processes
  • Empowers all concerned resources through transversal management with the necessary authority to get objectives accomplished
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs and/or company’s requirements while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company departments and personnel
Job requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field required
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar sales position at Tier 1 supplier to GM (General Motors)
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Experience in automotive components manufacturing and processes
  • Experience of automotive HMI products would be a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, versatility in intercultural and interdisciplinary communication
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Fluent English communication skills are required
  • Leadership, pro-activity, problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Readiness for travelling at necessary extends to secure achievement of all responsibilities.
