Job tasks
  • Develop and maintain a global longterm planning process along the whole supply chain to assure customer demands by leveling customer demands, capacity management on plant’ and supplier side, allocation management
  • Develop and maintain processes to feed S&OP process with volume data for mid-term (rolling 12 months)
  • Develop process to feed Purchasing with Supplier volume forecast data via Sales &Operations / SIOP.
  • Develop and maintain global packaging process to assure same standard on returnable packaging
  • Develop and maintain global KPI’s for Logistics to measure performance
  • Define common customer release variation guidelines with Sales – communicated with plants
  • Define common supplier delivery requirements (lead/transit/frequency) with Operations
  • Continious Operational Improvement Support
  • Implement common processes & tools from central logistics strategy in company's plants
  • Team Leadership, People Management and Team development
  • Teamwork with other Purchasing / SCM senior personnel to define strategies and long term goals
Job requirements
  • At least Bachelor’s degree, Masters’, PhD or professional degree (preffered)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position
  • Experience of Logistics Management in an Automotive Manufacturing business and/or Experience outside Automotive industries to implement Best Practices with “fresh eyes”
  • Languages: Fluent in English, knowledge of German will be an asset
  • Enthusiasm and ability to motivate others
  • Significant cross-plant responsibility for delivering performance and process improvement
  • Frequent requirement to travel between sites
